Our amazing supporters at Taylor Woodrow recently held a ‘Rock the Boat’ charity event for Jessie May – and what a night it was!
The (sold-out!) event was held at the Grain Barge here in Bristol, organised by the team at Filton Bank and hosted by Oliver Cook.
We were delighted to go along and astounded to be presented with a cheque for £9,793.24 on the night! As of this week, the final amount raised was then added up to a spectacular £10,233.85 for Jessie May!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved – this is a phenomenal donation to our children’s charity, and will make a world of difference to the children and families we support.
We had a wonderful night at the ‘Rock the Boat’ event and came away with this fantastic donation, which will go towards funding the Jessie May Nurses who are currently providing respite care, emotional support, end of life care and bereavement support to local families.
We really enjoyed the music on the night too! The event featured four bands from Taylor Woodrow and Arup; James Blyth and Chris Jones (Arup), Heahshunt (Fred Garner, Jez Haskins, Jon Pitman, John Hartley and Matt Kent), the Filharmonics (Paul Moss, Geraint Matthews, Richard Hogg and Finley Craig) and Western Skyline (Austin Gardner from Taylor Woodrow and his band). Music between bands was provided by Austin Gardner.
A massive well done and thank you to everyone involved – you rocked the boat, and you rock too!
