We’d like to say a HUGE congratulations to Snooker star and Jessie May Ambassador Judd Trump who won his first Masters title over the weekend!
Judd beat Ronnie O’Sullivan with a 10-4 victory at Alexandra Palace in London on Sunday afternoon. And what a performance it was! We were thrilled to see Judd claim the biggest win of his career as he beat 7-times Masters champion Ronnie. It was truly a fantastic battle between two of Snooker’s biggest draws. And as a Bristol-based children’s charity, we couldn’t be prouder of 29 year old Bristolian Judd for his well-deserved victory. The champion Snooker player is also a champion for Jessie May, as one of our charity Ambassadors.
Jessie May is also World Snooker’s official charity partner! We’re now in to our third year with the amazing team at World Snooker after chairman Barry Hearn, our Patron, announced they’d continue to support us! Make sure to keep an eye out for Jessie May as the Snooker season continues – the Jessie May team will be attending upcoming tournaments dressed in the unmissable Jessie May purple! Come and say hello and find out about the world of difference Judd and World Snooker’s support means to our charity, and of course the families the Jessie May Nurses support.
