ACT (Association for Childrens Palliative Care)

Raises awareness about what families and children need, helps professionals to deliver the best possible care and support, and provides families with information and help.

Advocacy is a means of offering support to get someone's voice heard. If you feel unable to achieve what you need because the process is too complicated, or the organisation is too powerful, and you feel confused or scared by the prospect then an advocate can help you to get your views across. The benefits adviser is an interactive tool to help you find out what benefits and tax credits you may be entitled to.

Bristol Royal Hospital for Children - Patient Advice & Liaison Service

Offer information and support on - healthcare issues and NHS services, negotiating a quick resolution to problems, liaising with staff and other organisations, providing support and advocacy for more complex issues, explaining how you can make a formal complaint.

Care Co-ordination Network UK (CCNUK)

Networking organisation promoting and supporting care co-ordination or key working for disabled children and their families in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Provides information and advice about voluntary and statutory sector health & wellbeing services across Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset & South Gloucestershire.

The Lifetime Service

NHS team of Community Children's Nurses, Psychologists and Health Care Support Workers offering a needs-led community service within the Bath and surrounding PCT areas for children with a non malignant, life threatening illness and who may require complex health care.

Grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses.

National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (NCYPE)

National charity providing specialist services and support for children and young people with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.
