Jubilee Dragon Boat Festival 2012!
On Sunday 17th June 2012, 17 brave sailors from Bristol and Somerset joined forces (and oars), taking to Bristol's finest waters in a Chinese style DRAGON BOAT all to raise much needed money for Jessie May!
The team rowed valiantly in 3 races against 6 other Corporate teams from Bristol and only narrowly missed out on making it into the top 10...
Fronting "Team Jessie May" was Liz Stockley and a big thank you goes to the rest of the team: Chris Reynolds, Debbie and Karl Rouse, Kester English, Cari Williams, Jay Ledingham, Tom Gannaway, Claire Orpin, Emily Bonney, Hayley Scard, Dan Sercombe, Josephine Tsui, Alan Chilcott, Tom Farrell, Circe Lewis and Luke Elmer - not forgetting our Jessie May mascot, little Olivia Ledingham - for raising over £1,151!
Our very own Community & Events Fundraiser Emily Lynch took the role of Dragon Boat drummer.
